POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will primarily serve as a research assistant for Dr. Ashley Carpenter, Associate Professor of Higher Education. Project topics will
tentatively explore the following topics:

• Arts-Based Methodologies (including Photovoice and Artifact/Photo-Elicitation)
• Experiences of Racially Minoritized College Students
• Joy on College Campuses
• College Access and Equity

THE GA WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Research and Writing

The Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies seeks a full-time (20 hours per week) Graduate Assistant for the 2026 Fall Semester, with a start date of August 10, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter (with continuation possible for following semesters). The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.
