Dr. Peijuan Cao and Dr. Rong Zhang are seeking a dedicated Graduate Research Assistant to join their research team for a project funded by the GRAM Program. The project involves conducting a systematic review of existing research on literacy instructional practices that support multilingual learners in grades K–5.

Plemmons Student Union Graduate Assistant

 

Position Overview
The Plemmons Student Union (PSU) Graduate Assistant will be a collaborative member of the PSU Professional Operations Staff, assisting with the general operations of the facility and developing the student staff that run the facility. The position focuses on the recruitment/selection/training of student employees, professional development coordination, assist in the evaluation process, provide oversight and direction to the Game Room, Co-advise the student leadership team, and assist with assessment goals for the Plemmons Student Union.

Pathways to Resilience Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Graduate Assistant

 

The Pathways to Resilience Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a solutions-oriented climate literacy initiative at Appalachian State University, one of the nation's leaders in undergraduate climate literacy education. The QEP works with partners across campus to develop and implement opportunities for students to grow their climate literacy and 'response-ability' both within and beyond the classroom (i.e., through curricular and co-curricular opportunities).

ACCESS/TRIO SSS Lead Graduate Assistant

 

This Graduate Assistantship is a campus-based leadership position for the ACCESS Scholarship program and the TRIO Student Support Service program. As the Lead GA, you will be providing a valuable service to both programs by mentoring our first-generation and low-income first-year students. In addition to mentoring, graduate assistants participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their mentoring skills. The Lead GA is also in a leadership role over our other graduate assistants working within our mentoring program.

The Biology Department is looking for someone to help with administrative duties associated with the biology graduate program including: responding to and writing emails, processing applications, organizing committee work, updating website, public relations, etc. Hours 10-20 hrs depending on student preference. Pay $26.67/hr
