Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies - Graduate Assistant

 

Position Description: The program in Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies seeks an administrative Graduate Assistant for 2025-26. Duties include creating and disseminating promotional materials for courses, degree programs, and events using Canva, social media, or other tools; supporting recruitment and outreach efforts; assisting in event planning and student and faculty engagement; and other duties as assigned by the program director.

Compensation is $16.67 per hour with an expectation of 10-20 hours per week.
Maximum pay is $10,000 for the academic year.

Position Overview:
The Graduate Assistant for the Leadership Studies Minor will focus on program advising, administration, and promotion. In this role, you will be able to develop skills in providing academic support and guidance, project management and organization, and written and verbal communication. Graduate Assistant roles are designed to promote intentional professional and personal growth and complement academic study. This position will require working 10 hours per week on
campus between 8-5 - specific days and times to be negotiated.
