The Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program (SDAP) is seeking a 10-20-hour graduate assistant for Fall/Spring 2025-26. The pay is $20 per hour.

Transfer Transition & Engagement Graduate Assistant

 

Transfer Admissions & Engagement supports transfer students throughout their entire journey with App State. Over one quarter of our undergraduate student population (approximately 5,000 students) transferred from another institution. In addition to recruiting, admissions, and credit evaluations, our office ensures that transfer students have a smooth transition and find a sense of belonging at App State through engagement and support.

Academic Services for Student-Athletes Graduate Assistant

 

Academic Services for Student Athletes (ASA) provides a comprehensive range of academic advising, personal support, and eligibility oversight for student athletes at Appalachian. Graduate Assistants assist in our daily operations and support students through our study hall program and one-on-one academic support.

This position works 10-20 hours per week. Evening work is required (1-2 evening shifts per week; 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

ACCESS/TRIO SSS Graduate Student Mentor

 

This Graduate Assistantship is a campus-based leadership position for the ACCESS Scholarship program and the TRIO Student Support Service program. As a graduate student mentor, you will be providing a valuable service to both programs by mentoring our first-generation and low-income first-year students. In addition to mentoring, graduate assistants participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their mentoring skills.
