Eligibility - Who is eligible?

Eligible students for "Accelerated Admissions" are those who:

  • Are enrolled as an undergraduate student at Appalachian State University and have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. (Note that some programs may have higher minimum GPA requirements; see table below.)
  • Are ready to enter their final year of enrollment in their undergraduate degree program here at Appalachian, with 90 hours completed by the end of the application semester. (Applications from students not yet at 90 hours will be held until the end of the term.)

All students interested in the Accelerated Admissions program should speak to the graduate program's director to determine eligibility for the proposed graduate program and Accelerated Admissions.
