Financial Aid
The Office of Student Financial Aid works with students every day to help make education accessible. The staff is available to answer any of your questions about financial support during your graduate study.
Scholarships and Fellowships
Scholarships and fellowships are awarded to students based on a competitive review process by the Graduate School, an individual program and department, or from agencies or organizations outside of App State.
Assistantships
Full-time, on-campus graduate students are eligible for teaching, research or general graduate assistantships across campus. Graduate assistants are expected to work between 10-20 hours per week and receive a stipend for the duties they perform.
Student Employment & Internships
The Office of Student Employment and the Career Development Center assists students in finding job opportunities — on and off campus. Their services include job and internship search assistance,career coaching, resume review, employer engagement and more.
Residency Status
All students must complete the Residency Determination Service for admissions, tuition and fee purposes as required by North Carolina law and the UNC System.
