The Transfer Admissions & Engagement office at App State is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Spring 2025 semester to support transfer students in building connections and feeling at home within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Engagement & Support: Play a vital role in welcoming and supporting transfer students through event planning, social media engagement, and one-on-one interactions.
• Event Assistance: Facilitate transfer student events, including evening programs on Tuesdays, community-building initiatives, and activities on and off campus.
• Student Outreach: Connect with transfer students to address any questions or concerns raised through surveys or referrals, ensuring they feel supported throughout their transition.
• Campus Presence: Represent Transfer Admissions & Engagement across campus, providing remote points of contact for transfer students and promoting resources.

Compensation:
$5,000 for one semester (15 weeks, 20 hours per week, resulting in an hourly rate of $16.67/hr)
