10-Hour/Week Graduate Assistantship Working with Counseling, Family Therapy, and Higher Education Department Chair

Position Description
I am looking for a graduate student to assist me with research projects and occasional coordination of departmental initiatives. My research focuses on career development, college readiness, and postsecondary transition planning, with an emphasis on students with disabilities. Work usually can be completed electronically and independently (i.e., you typically will not be required to be present on campus during specific days or times).

I have a couple projects in the works (elementary student career beliefs and aspirations; school counseling assessment practices) and will be initiating others. Opportunities are available to co-design projects and co-author
manuscripts, if interested. Read more about me at https://hpc.appstate.edu/directory/dr-amy- milsom.
