The Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program is seeking a full-time graduate student to assist the WAC Program for 10 hours per week in conducting research on writing and writing instruction. The WAC Research Assistant (RA) participates in ongoing research projects, including longitudinal writing assessments at Appalachian, and assists in conducting original WAC research and analyzing data. While the primary focus is research, the WAC RA also attends weekly staff meetings and helps organize WAC conferences and events throughout the year. The stipend is $10,000 for the 23-23 academic year.
