This position will provide administrative program support to the Lucy Brock Child Development Lab Program (LBCDLP). LBCDL is a full-day, year-round early education program serving as a co-curricular program for students across campus.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Administration Assistance & Communication
  • Support to the administrative team for successful program operation.
  • Special Assignments (May Include)
    • Curriculum materials support for LBCDL teachers
    • Data entry and management for LBCDL
    • Engaging with students, children, and families who utilize the program.
  • Additional tasks may emerge based on interest and experience

Qualifications:
Must be a full-time graduate student at Appalachian State University
Enrolled in a Boone campus (in-person) graduate program
Ability to work 10 hours per week to fulfill position responsibilities

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proactive communicator with strong written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently on assigned projects (ex: does not consistently need explicit examples or extensive project details to start a project)
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage time
  • Willingness to procure an NCDCDEE qualification letter.
