The University Libraries seeks a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Graduate Assistant to assist with online website maintenance and content creation.
Examples of projects include:
- Conduct accessibility checks to ensure the website complies withaccessibility standards.
- Perform web page clean-up tasks, including fixing broken links, updating outdated content, and optimizing images.
- Edit and format web pages to improve readability and user experience.
- Evaluate online learning objects for accessibility, errors, and outdated content and edit where necessary
- Perform other online duties as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled full time (9+ semester hours) in a graduate program at Appalachian State University.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in any of the following: digital accessibility, web design, instructional design, teaching and learning technologies
Hours and schedule:
20 hours/week for Fall 2025, eligible for partial remote hours
Position will begin as soon as possible
Compensation and hours:
20 hours/week for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters
$15.83/hour
