Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum in the Reich College of Education seeks either two full time or up to four part time Graduate Assistants for the 2025-26 academic year. Assistantships can also be contracted by semester rather than academic year. Duties include supporting LTC faculty with teaching and research projects. Duties vary depending on the needs of faculty. Specific duties may include:
- Locating and reviewing curricular resources for teaching
- Locating and reviewing empirical research
- Data management and transcription
- Website development
- Creating and disseminating promotional materials for courses, degree programs, and events using Canva, Mailchimp, social media, or other tools.
Compensation is $16.50 per hour. Assistantships can be full-time or part-time and can span a semester or the academic year. Full-time positions are 20 hours per week, and part-time positions are 10 hours per week. Maximum pay for one full time position is $9,900 for the academic year, or $4,950 per semester. Maximum pay for a part time position is $4,950 each for the academic year, or $2,475 per semester.
All work must be performed within the state of North Carolina. You must be a full-time degree-seeking graduate student enrolled in at least nine credit hours of graduate coursework during the fall/spring semester. You must also be in good standing (3.0 GPA and no failing grades) and be enrolled at the Boone campus. Fully online students may also be eligible.
