Graduate Student Success & Wellness Conference
Join us for the 5th Annual Graduate Student Success & Wellness Conference, to be hosted by Appalachian State on June 1-2, 2023 in beautiful Boone, North Carolina. The conference theme is (Re)envisioning Graduate Student Support Strategies. Session topics will focus on meeting graduate student needs in the areas of financial support, holistic wellness, career readiness, professional development, leadership, and mentoring. Information for Conference Attendees:
The conference is being held in the Reich College of Education Building located at 151 College Street, Boone, NC, 28608. Parking is located in the Parking Deck Deck at 162 College Street. We will have parking passes available for you when you arrive.
Check-in and Registration will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on June 1 in the main lobby of the Reich College of Education Building.
The Graduate Student Success & Wellness Conference is a collaboration between Appalachian State, Virginia Tech, UNC Charlotte, East Tennessee State University, and other regional partners. The conference is designed as an opportunity for graduate school professionals who provide support and services to graduate students to come together and share their successes and challenges. It is a great time of networking, exchanging ideas, and supporting one another in our shared purpose. Graduate student participants are also encouraged to attend!

Registration Details
- The registration fee of $100 per attendee includes registration, parking, networking reception on June 1, breakfast and lunch on June 2, as well as snacks and beverages.
- The conference begins at 1:00 pm on June 1 and concludes at 1:30 pm on June 2.
- Lodging: Summer can be busy here in the NC High Country! We encourage you to make your reservations early at a hotel, B&B, or AirBNB in the area.
