The Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies seeks applicants for our 2026-2027 Graduate Student Ambassador paid position working on an as needed basis within schedules. The pay rate is $25 per hour. This position will have a cap of no more than 40 hours worked over the course of the academic year.
Graduate Student Ambassadors serve as official student representatives for the Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies. Ambassadors support current graduate students by assisting with graduate school activities and events including Orientation, 3MT Competition, Awards Ceremony, Commencement, and other Graduate Student Life engagement events. They also support potential graduate students by participating in recruitment activities with Graduate Admissions. Ambassadors will not participate in every event but do need to consider whether they will have the flexibility and capacity to commit to events as available and work as part of the Graduate Ambassador team to ensure coverage for events.
Key Responsibilities:
Graduate Student Support:
- Graduate Student Life Engagement: Participate and provide assistance in events and initiatives that enhance the graduate experience by helping with event operations.
Recruitment Support:
- Event Participation: Assist with recruitment events like open houses, information sessions, etc.
Communication and Representation:
- Represent the School: Act as a positive representative for the institution.
Other Duties:
- Attend training and ambassador meetings (monthly).
- Participate in special projects and initiatives within the graduate program.
