Seeking two Graduate Research Consultants to work in Research Data Analysis (RDA), which is a part of the Office of Research. Graduate Research Consultants will work with the Director and fellow graduate Research Consultants to provide methodological and analytic assistance to faculty engaged in research across the campus. Knowledge of various statistical software packages such as SPSS, Excel, or R, but training and development opportunities are provided. Graduate Research Consultants also assist the RDA Director with the development of training materials to be delivered through workshops for students and faculty.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attending weekly RDA staff meetings
  • Engaging in professional development of research and statistical skills
  • Establishing and maintaining regular contact with RDA clients
  • Conducting statistical analyses and interpreting statistical output as needed by clients
  • Delivering written and oral reports to clients
  • Assisting with the development of statistics and research methods workshops and training modules
  • Assisting with the establishment and/or development of tools and procedures to be used by RDA
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation
Research Consultants will work Summer 2023 through Spring 2024. During the summer, 10 hours per week is expected. During the academic year, 20 hours per week is expected. Compensation is $20/hour.
