Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum seeks either one full time (20 hours per week) or two part time (10 hours per week) Graduate Assistant(s) for the 2023-24 academic year. Assistantships can also be contracted by semester rather than academic year. Duties include supporting LTC faculty with teaching and research projects, and vary depending on the needs of faculty. Specific duties may include locating and reviewing curricular resources for teaching; locating and reviewing empirical research; data management and transcription; website development; creating and disseminating promotional materials for courses, degree programs, and events using Canva, Mailchimp, social media, or other tools.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour. Maximum pay for one full time position is $9,500 for the academic year. Maximum pay for a part time position is $4,750 for the academic year.

All work must be performed within the state of North Carolina. You must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least two semester hours of graduate coursework at the Boone campus, and must be in good standing (3.0 GPA and no failing grades). A shared office can be provided upon request.
