Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

May 26-June 2, 2019

What are your plans after graduation? Are you planning to leave Boone and move to the city? Do you know what it takes to land a job in a large, diverse region where you'll be working with colleagues from other cultures or countries?

Join the Graduate School as we travel to New York City for a week to learn what it takes to transition from rural Boone to an urban workforce. During this Career and Service Trek, we'll explore ways to honor ideas of inclusion and what it takes to thrive in today's diverse workforce. We'll experience people, places, and things that have made NYC a unique place to work, live, and play.

Like the song says, "If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere!"
