History of the Graduate Student Ambassadors

The Appalachian Graduate Student Ambassadors program was created in the summer of 2014 by the graduate dean, Edelma Huntley with the assistance of Robert Sanders, Associate Dean, and Sandra Krause, Director of Graduate Admissions. From a very strong pool of nominees representing several departments from three different colleges, the inaugural class of Ambassadors was selected to represent Appalachian's graduate students at special events and to tell, from their unique perspectives, the story of the incredible graduate student experience at Appalachian.
